Mixing with the posh ones!

From the town of no hippies we headed to San Martin, another swiss style town which is set on the 7 lakes drive and is meant to be more chic and up market than the others nearby – we'll fit in just fine then! We arrived around 8pm and checked straight into our hostal which was the plushest HI place we'd seen – ok perhaps it is posh in these parts! We then headed down the local supermarket to get some dinner bits, it was like shopping in M&S – yep it’s posh here! The following morning we took a local ferry across the lake heading to a small indigenous village. We trekked for a couple of hours round the village and woods before having lunch on a lake shore with a horse and her foal. Spent the rest of the day in town window shopping at outdoor clothing stores for stuff we would have bought had we any money! The following day we headed off into the hills around town and just chilled out in our posh hostal when for some crazy reason I had the idea of letting Shona cut my hair! 30 minutes later and after lots of laughter (especially when she ran the trimmer up the back of my head on the lowest setting!) she had actually done a good job, new career when we get back maybe!
