The lush green hills of Ecuador has given way to the Peruvian coast and desert….yep desert we thought it was wierd too!! Dry, sandy, grey land (mostly used a rubbish dump) as far as the eye could see, every now and then you could see the Pacific Ocean crashing waves on to the coast line in the distance, even this had a low grey cloud just hanging over it – not quite the welcome we'd expected from Peru!
